PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bit error rate performance of a system. SOLUTION: A wireless transmitting apparatus 101 includes: a reference vector generator 115 for generating a reference vector having a predetermined hamming distance between the reference vector and an information vector; an encoder 111 for encoding a vector; a plurality of interleavers each having a different interleave mode and applying the interleave mode to encoded information and the reference vector; a modulator for modulating a vector from each interleaver; an effective value calculator for estimating information to be transmitted on a channel and the reference vector on the basis of the modulated information and the reference vector from each interleaver and calculating the minimum Euclidian distance between the information to be transmitted on the channel and the reference vector as an effective value of the interleaver; and an interleaver selector for transmitting the information vector from the interleaver having the effective value greater than that of the other interleaver.
