The pneumatic tired vehicle wheel has a rigid rim (11) and a radial ply tire with traction and pressure resistant cores (9,10) in beaded rims (7,8). The rigid rim is provided as a standard rim with radially outside extended rim horns (18,19). A friction-decreasing arrangement is arranged only within a contact range of rim horns of the beaded rim. A rim seating surface (14) is recessed around the friction-decreasing arrangement provided with an aluminum layer. Reinforcing strips (12,13) is provided, which is made of an elastomer material.
