METHOD FOR MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS DECISION USING MODULATION BOM

PURPOSE: A material requirement decision method with a modulation BOM structure is provided to increase the effectiveness of BOM preparation and management by simplifying and modeling production items as a production option and production specification. CONSTITUTION: A model BOM DB is constructed(S10). Production option data and production specification data are registered(S20). Modulation BOM DB is constructed(S30). The modulation BOM DB is comprised of the item data selected in the model BOM DB, the production option data, and the item data selected in the production specification data. Model BOM data and modulation BOM data are calculated, and material requirement decision data is extracted(S50).
