摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a positive electrode for a lithium-ion secondary battery manufacturing the positive electrode suppressing aging degradation of dispersibility of a coating for forming the positive electrode, with excellent productivity and improving the cycling characteristics of the lithium-ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the positive electrode for the lithium-ion secondary battery includes the coating preparing step of mixing a positive electrode active substance, a binder, a conductive assistant, an organic solvent and water to prepare the coating for forming a positive electrode active substance layer, and the active substance layer forming step of forming the positive electrode substance layer on a collector using the coating for forming the positive electrode active substance layer, wherein the binder is a polyvinylidene fluoride prepared by emulsion polymerization, and in the coating preparing step, the coating for forming the positive electrode active substance layer is prepared so that the addition amount (mass%) of water relative to the total amount of the organic solvent and water as a reference and pH of the positive electrode active substance satisfy a relation expressed by the following formula (1): 48&le;äaddition amount of water+(4.25&times;pH of the positive electrode active substance)}&le;52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
