<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process unit capable of holding a developing roller and a photoreceptor in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: The process unit 5 includes a photoreceptor unit 100 having a photoreceptor, and a developing unit 200 having a developing roller supported by a developing frame 210, and is detachably mounted on the body of an image forming apparatus. The photoreceptor unit 100 includes a pinch roller 120 for transporting a recording sheet, and a bearing member 130 which rotatably supports the pinch roller 120, and can be moved in the direction of the axis of the pinch roller 120. A locking part 133 that extends inward and can engage with a part to be locked 212 provided to the developing frame 210 is provided to the bearing member 130. When the process unit 5 is mounted on the body of the image forming apparatus and positioned, the locking part 133 engages with the part to be locked 212 in a manner to press the developing unit 200 against the photoreceptor unit 100 in the state in which the bearing member 130 has moved inward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
