PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an orally disintegrable tablet with suitably balanced disintegration rate and hardness in the oral cavity. SOLUTION: The method for producing an orally disintegrable tablet is characterized by including steps of A: (b) spraying an aqueous suspension of a water-insoluble but hydrophilic disintegration component selected from starch, a cereal powder including starch, a fine particle anhydrous silicic acid, hydroxypropylstarch, crospovidon and their mixtures on (a) a fluid layer of an excipient component selected from sugars or sugar alcohols to give a granulated product and B: at least addition of a lubricant to the resultant granular product followed by compression molding.
