PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a service life of a packing 12 by suppressing deterioration of the packing provided in a distributing pipe joint 10 and made of a rubber elastic material as much as possible. SOLUTION: A sealing device is interposed between a distributing pipe 20 and a joint body 11 for interconnecting the distributing pipes 20. The packing 12 made of the rubber elastic material and a guard ring 13 positioned on an end 20a side of the distributing pipe 20 from the packing 12 and having an inner diameter part 13a proximately opposing to the outer peripheral face of the distributing pipe 20 are arranged within an annular groove 11a formed on the inner peripheral face of the joint body 11. Even when part of water made to flow within the distributing pipe 20 is made to flow in from the end part of the distributing pipe 20 to a space S1 between the joint body 11 and the distributing pipe 20 to form a vortex flow, the flow F is blocked by the guard ring 13 and the water made to flow in between the guard ring 13 and the packing 12 is brought into static contact with the packing 12.
