<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery with low electric resistance that is suitable for use in a vehicle while maintaining the storage characteristics of a secondary battery due to a protective coating, having low electric resistance, by forming the protective coating on the surface of a negative electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery includes: a positive electrode active material layer 12 formed on the surface of a current collector 14 and containing a layer coated with positive electrode active material particles; a negative electrode active material layer 13 formed on a current collector 14, different from the current collector 14 formed with the positive electrode active material layer, and containing a negative-electrode active material; and an electrolytic layer 11 provided between the positive electrode active material layer 12 and the negative electrode active material layer 13 so as to separate the positive electrode active material layer 12 from the negative electrode active material layer 13. A nonaqueous electrolyte, containing an organometallic compound expressed by general formula (I) and having an ether bond, is used for an electrolyte contained in the electrolytic layer 11. M is a metal element and R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, and R<SP>4</SP>are respectively hydrogen or an alkyl group capable of having a substituent group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
