<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable, flexible hotmelt composition which has quick setting time, can be readily applied to a target object, is excellent in handleability, shows high heat-resistant adhesion and is capable of producing a well-bonded bookbinding product. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hotmelt composition includes: 12-50 wt.% polylactic acid resin (a) having a glass transition temperature of ≥40°C; 25-75 wt.% polylactic acid resin (b) having a glass transition temperature of ≤10°C; and 5-50 wt.% polyalkylene alkane dicarboxylate resin (c).
