The extension arm has a chain conveying system (2) for transferring sheet from sheet guiding cylinders (1). The chain conveying system has a pick-up carrier (2.3) which is driven by chains (2.2) having chain links and running over chain wheels (2.1), where each chain wheel has a sprocket. The sprockets are arranged adjacent to each other in a uniform sprocket distance. The chains have different lengths and chain links are arranged such that the lengths correspond with the chain links.
