<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which can accumulate daily life activities of a test subject, such as an aged person, at a low cost in the most natural manner while ensuring privacy, can evaluate the daily activities of the test subject, and can speedily and easily determine the physical conditions of the test subject. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus evaluates the daily activities of the test subject from operations of household electrical appliances. The apparatus has an analysis evaluation means 3 which analyzes operation-time information of a predetermined household electrical appliance. The analysis evaluation means 3 includes: an analysis section 31 which calculates sum values at predetermined time intervals from the operation-time information for one day and calculates an entropy value of an aggregate of the sum values; a storage section 32 which stores a standard entropy value that is obtained by analyzing the accumulated operation-time information; and an evaluation section 33 which compares the entropy value analyzed by the analysis section 31 with the standard entropy value and evaluates the daily activities of the test subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
