<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of enhancing the mounting work efficiency of a child seat without deteriorating the seating feeling in a situation where any child seat is not used. <P>SOLUTION: A striker at a vehicle body side is arranged on a back of a swollen part 2b at a rear end of a seat cushion 2. The seat cushion 2 has a pad material and a skin material. A penetration passage is formed in the pad material, and a slit 18 is formed in the skin material. An extension part 18a extending upwardly over an insertion port of the penetration passage is provided in the slit 18.
