<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a structural part related to a latch from protruding into the inside of a portable personal computer regarding a portable personal computer to which a battery pack is attached. <P>SOLUTION: A guide rail is formed on the wall at the end of a battery-pack storage part 37 of a body part 31. A latch recess is formed by cutting off a part of the guide rail. A guide groove is formed in the end face of a battery pack 50 while a latch pawl is also provided on the end face. The battery pack 50 is attached by being pushed into the battery-pack storage part 37. The latch pawl is hooked in the latch recess.
