<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved technique for measuring hemolysis of blood samples, examining a hemolysis state of the blood samples in further detail. <P>SOLUTION: For measuring hemolysis of blood samples for measuring progress of the hemolysis during the hemolysis of the blood samples, measurement light radiated from a measurement light source is applied to the blood samples during the hemolysis to detect measurement light quantity values at some measurement points for transmitted and/or reflected measurement light. Time-dependent progress of the measurement light quantity values is created from the detected measurement light quantity values, a grade of a measurement curve at least allocated to each section is determined as a comparison reference for comparing measurement light quantity values at a different measurement point for the time-dependent progress, several measurement light quantity values for different measurement points are compared by an evaluation device, and the degree of progress of hemolysis is measured. When the grade decreases down to the minimum value when a grade within selectable measurement precision decreases down to zero after a measurement period different from zero, an end to the hemolysis is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
