PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having integrated back and seat which is excellent in an appearance and air permeability. SOLUTION: The chair includes an upper part 1 in which a seat 2 and a backrest 3 are integrated, and a leg device 4 on which the upper part is piled up. The upper part 1 includes a frame structure 5 which is L-shaped in the side surface view and a support seat 6 attached to it. The outer peripheral part of the support seat 6 is formed to be cylinder parts 6a, 6b, and 6c. Left and right side members 7 and an upper member 8 are integrated by welding and they are inserted into the cylinder parts 6a and 6b of the support seat 6 in advance. Then, a front member 9 is inserted into the front cylinder part 6c and the front member 9 is connected to the left and right side members. The interval of the bend parts 7a of the left and right side members 7 is held by an intermediate member 10. Since the support seat 6 is extended continuously to the seat 2 and the backrest 3, the appearance is excellent. Rigidity is secured as well by the intermediate member 10.
