PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of obtaining outline of a measured value in a short time without enlarging the device, and displaying the measured value in detail as the need arises. SOLUTION: This measuring device includes a measuring part for measuring an electric parameter (for example, a resistance value) relative to a measuring object, and a control part for displaying a measured value based on a measurement result by the measuring part on a display part in terms of a numerical value. The control part allows a display part to display a measured value in a first display mode for displaying to the third decimal place when the measurement result is within a measured value range (within the range not less than 0.090 MΩand not more than 0.200 MΩ) specified beforehand, allows the display part to display the measured value in a second display mode for displaying only to the second decimal place when the measurement result is lower than a lower limit value (0.090 MΩ) of the measured value range, and allows the display part to display the measured value in a third display mode for displaying only to the first decimal place when the measurement result exceeds an upper limit value (0.200 MΩ) of the measured value range.
