<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a macro switching unit achieving downsizing and higher precision of a mechanism to perform focusing and a mechanism to perform macro switching. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a focus adjustment mechanism, the position of an imaging lens is adjusted and fixed in such a state that a lens folder, a focus adjustment folder, a macro switching folder and a base plate are assembled. When performing focus adjustment, a system where the imaging lens is moved in an optical axis direction by moving a projection part provided to the lens folder to slide on the inclined surface of the focus adjustment folder is adopted. A macro switching mechanism in the macro switching unit has constitution where the focus adjustment folder is integrated and assembled with the macro switching folder when performing macro switching.
