<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover panel device capable of being easily attached. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cover panel device is provided with a panel supporting member to be attached to a beam member and a girder member of an accessory of a building by engagement without use of a tool. The cover panel device is provided with a substrate body 41 for the panel to be secured to a joist member 9 having an approximately C-shaped cross section of the accessory of the building with a bolt 42 and a nut 43. A cover panel body 16 for covering the underside surface of a floor of the accessory of the building is supported by the panel supporting member and is fixed to the substrate body 41 for the panel by a drill screw 60. The substrate body 41 for the panel comprises a first vertical plate part 51 for fixing an inner surface of the vertical plate part 9c of the joist member 9 and a third horizontal plate part 56 for fixing the cover panel body 16.
