PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite confectionery batter capable of providing a cream puff case having a very large volume, good shape-keeping properties and a smooth surface hardly showing cracks, and exhibiting crunchy good texture, and to provide a method for producing the cream puff case having the characteristics. SOLUTION: The composite confectionery batter has a covering batter composed of a rice cake-like batter and an inner batter of puff batter. The method for producing the cream puff case includes heating the composite confectionery batter.
