PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that production of a recognition mark causes increase of working processes and when a resin or the like is removed from a recess of the recognition mark by rinsing or the like in a metal mask where the recognition mark is formed by using a resin or the like, positioning becomes impossible to stop a manufacturing line and reduce productivity. SOLUTION: In the recognition mark 2 provided for positioning, the recognition mark 2 is subjected to marking processing by laser beams to produce a rugged part 2 at an electroforming matrix 1 and thus variable color density is formed on the recognition mark 2 and the electroforming matrix 1 except the recognition mark 2. Then plating processing is carried out and the rugged part 2 is transferred onto an electroforming matrix 1 contact surface side of an electric welding layer 5. Thus the metal mask equipped with the recognition mark 2 formed at the electroforming matrix 1 contact surface side of the electric welding layer 5 is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
