PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel capable of eliminating a residual image. SOLUTION: A main thin film transistor 90 and an auxiliary thin film transistor 91 are disposed on pixels of a first substrate of the liquid crystal display panel. The main thin film transistor 90 includes a first gate 90a coupled to a corresponding scanning line, and a first source 90b coupled to a corresponding data line. The auxiliary thin film transistor 91 includes a second gate 91a coupled to the corresponding scanning line, and a second source 91b coupled to the adjacent data line. This accelerates emission of electric charges, accumulated in the pixels, from the adjacent data line, and effectively eliminates a residual image.
