The box (10) has a retaining chamber for consignment of goods. The retaining chamber has a closable and lockable door (14) with two locks (16). The door has a closure (26) for uniquely opening the door. One of the locks is activated by an adjusting device after opening and before closing of the door such that the door is locked after closing the door and reopened only with the activated lock. The door has a central latch plate that is connectable with the lock by the adjusting device. The adjusting device is operated from a back side of the door.
