An air conditioning unit for a vehicle, configured in such a manner that drain water produced by an evaporator is reliably discharged from a drain hole without adhering to the wall within the case body, thereby preventing dew condensation in a case body from occurring. An air conditioning unit (1) for a vehicle, comprising: an evaporator (2) which cools air to be sent; a case body (3) which includes an airflow space (28) formed upstream of the evaporator (2), a water discharge space (15) formed downstream of the evaporator (2), and a drain hole (5); and an inner guide (4) which includes a suction opening (11) for causing drain water to flow into the inner guide (4), a partition plate (10) for separating the airflow space (28) and the water discharge space (15) from each other, and a drain guide section (6) communicating with the drain hole (5). The inner guide (4) is formed in a substantially box-like shape and comprises a drain water flow space (8) surrounded by the partition plate (10), side faces (9, 14), and a lower face (25). Excluding the upper edges and the drain guide section (6) of the inner guide (4), the side faces (9, 14) and the lower face (25) of the inner guide (4) are not in contact with the case body (3).
