PURPOSE: An apparatus of installing application in a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal thereof are provided to maximize the user convenience by automatically installing or deleting an application of an additional service to and from an SMS(Short Message Service) or MMS(Multimedia Message Service). CONSTITUTION: A subscriber information server(100) transfers a message for subscriber additional service management information to an SMS format according to an additional service subscription or cancelation. A mobile communication terminal(300) analyzes the message for the subscriber additional service management information. In the case of the additional service subscription, the mobile communication terminal is downloaded and installed by the mobile communication terminal. In the case of cancellation of an additional service, the mobile communication terminal deletes the application.
