<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve control device for preventing the frequent changeover of a lift amount in a short time when an engine revolving speed is greatly changed momentarily, while maintaining responsiveness to the changeover of the lift amount. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that a cam is changed over into a high-speed cam, when the engine revolving speed falls bellow a low-speed cam changeover threshold VL, the cam is changed over from the high-speed cam into a low-speed cam. In the case that the cam is changed over into the low-speed cam, when the engine revolving speed rises above a high-speed cam changeover threshold VH higher than the low-speed cam changeover threshold VL, the cam is changed over from the low-speed cam into the high-speed cam. When the cam is changed over from the high-speed cam into the low-speed cam, the high-speed cam changeover threshold VH is temporarily set higher. When the cam is changed over from the low-speed cam into the high-speed cam, the low-speed cam changeover threshold VL is temporarily set lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
