PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since waste liquid is discharged to the same section in a waste liquid tank, a deposit grows so that the life of the waste liquid tank is reduced. SOLUTION: A slider member 254 is slidably supported by a slider cover 255 attached to a sub-side plate 260. A first waste liquid tank 100 is attached to the slider member 254 so as to be movable in a back-and-forth direction of an apparatus body. An intermediate gear 251 is integrally formed with an intermediate gear 239 that rotates when a cap 82a is vertically moved. An intermediate gear 252 with a cam pin 253 is provided so as to be engaged with the intermediate gear 251. The cam pin 253 of the intermediate gear 252 is slidably fitted into the slide groove 254a of the slider member 254. With the configuration, the first waste liquid tank 100 is moved in association with movement of the cap 82a between a closed position and an opened position so that the position of the waste liquid tank 100 at the previous time of idle ejection is made different from the position thereof at a current time of idle ejection.
