摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a hybrid vehicle allowing not only the improvement of mounting performance to the vehicle by reducing the size and weight of the device but also the improvement of drive force performance provided in an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device includes a continuously variable transmission mechanism 6 having an input shaft 4 and an output shaft 5, and a power synthetic mechanism 8 in which rotation from the internal combustion engine 2 can be inputted into a first rotation element R1, the input shaft 4 is connected to a second rotation element C1, and rotation from the electric motor 3 can be inputted into a third rotation element S1. The power synthetic mechanism 8 includes an engaging element 27 for connecting and disconnecting the first rotation element R1 and the second rotation element C1 to form a lower speed stage and a high speed stage at an upstream side of the continuously variable transmission mechanism 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
