<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect temperatures at a plurality of positions of a cooking container while a temperature sensor is not exposed to heat and a strong magnetic field generated from a heating coil. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker includes: an infrared ray sensor 4 provided below the heating coil 3 and detecting infrared rays radiated from a plurality of positions of the cooking container 1; and a control means 6 controlling the output of an inverter circuit 5 corresponding to an output of the infrared ray sensor 4. The infrared ray sensor 4 includes at least a plurality of infrared ray detection elements 9 and a single or a plurality of lenses 10, the infrared ray detection elements capable of detecting infrared rays at the plurality of the positions of the cooking container 1 at substantially the same time.
