<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a conventional aseismatic reinforcing device cannot be installed unless part of a building is removed and restored to the original position, a foundation and the like have to be reinforced because stresses are concentrated on the sill and foundation of a bearing wall reinforced: and to provide aseismatic reinforcement not requiring removal and restoration work to an opening such as a window. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Movable or removably-attached low rigidity aseismatic reinforcing devices 2, 3, 4, 5 are designed to be installed in openings 6, 7, 8, 9 such as windows. Walls located above/below the opening abut on structural materials α, β, γ of a building body. By installing the low rigidity aseismatic reinforcing device equivalent to the wall 1 in the opening and the like, rigidity equivalent to that of the bearing wall can be demonstrated even if the rigidity is low.
