PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin hopper preventing a stacked and self-standing state of coins without using a stacked and self-standing state prevention means such as a spring material or a protrusion, and easily dissolving the stacked and self-standing state having occurred by reverse rotation or the like of a rotation member. SOLUTION: This coin hopper includes: the rotation member 36 rotatably supported to an inner bottom part of a coin storage part 30, selecting a coin one by one, and discharging the coin to the outside from a discharge port 32 formed in a side face; a detection part 34 positioned outside the discharge port, detecting passage of the coin; a pushing-out means (a pushing-out arm) 33 positioned outside the discharge port, turnably pivotally supported to push out the coin projected from the discharge port outward, and elastically urged; and a control part deciding discharge completion of a series of the coins based on a detection signal by the detection of the passage of the coin by the detection part, and controlling stop timing of the rotation member. The detection part and the pushing-out means (the pushing-out arm) 33 are supported on the same adjustment base 40, and a support member is turnably supported by a rotation center of the rotation member.
