摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cure a photo-curable ink hit on an ejection object, and to reduce a power consumption. Ž<P>SOLUTION: UV irradiation devices 4a, 4b and UV irradiation devices 5a, 5b are arranged in a paper feed direction on the right side and the left side of an inkjet head 3, respectively. When printing is performed to a recording paper P, the ink is ejected from the inkjet head 3 while a carriage 2 holding the inkjet head 3 and the UV irradiation devices 4a, 4b, 5a and 5b are moved back and forth in a scan direction. At the same time, ultraviolet rays are irradiated from one except those located on an end of the upstream side in the paper feed direction of two arranged on the upstream side in the movement direction of the inkjet head 3 and of two arranged on the downstream side in the movement direction among the UV irradiation devices 4a, 4b, 5a and 5b, and irradiation of the ultraviolet rays from one located on the end of the upstream side in the paper feed direction among those located on the downstream side in the movement direction is stopped.
