INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management method in which work efficiency during construction and during operation can be improved by efficiently managing information held in a master station and a terminal station which communicate with each other in a remote monitoring system employing power line communication. SOLUTION: The information management method comprises: power measuring instruments 31-3n each for measuring the quantity of power supplied from a power line Lp disposed in each house of a multiple dwelling house; terminal stations 21-2n disposed in respective houses for acquiring measured data from the power measuring instruments 31-3n; and a master station 1 disposed in an electric room for collecting measured data from the terminal stations 21-2n by performing power line communication with the terminal stations 21-2n over the power line Lp. An information terminal 5 connected to any one of the terminal stations 21-2n provided in the respective houses performs power line communication to manage information held in the master station 1 or/and the terminal stations 21-2n.
