PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a groove-shaped impeller that does not fall off in reversal stacking operation, by easily gripping a medium, regardless of the size of the medium. SOLUTION: This optical character reader is characterized by having the impeller having at least two or more of a recess-projection shape of a local waveform at a uniform interval on the inside-outside of a groove shape of constituting a medium stacking impeller shape of a plurality of groove shapes, in an involute curve of an area of gripping the medium.
