A stream media server, client terminal and method and system for downloading stream media are provided, the method includes: receiving and caching the stream media data carried by the real time protocol (RTP) packets through the stream media session; sorting and framing the cached RTP packets; and generating a file, writing the framed data frame in the generated file. A system for downloading stream media is also provided at the same time, which includes: a stream media server, client terminal, the stream media server is used for transmitting the stream media data which is carried by the RTP packets through the stream media session; the client terminal is used for receiving and caching the RTP packets, sorting and framing the cached RTP packets; and generating a file, writing the framed data frame in the generated file. With the present invention, the stream media data which has already been downloaded could be displayed normally after the downloading interruption. |
