The front wing parts (60A) have base portions (61) which constitute the innermost parts of the front wing parts (60A) in the width direction (W) of the absorbent article (1). The gathers (50) extend further outwards in the width direction (W) of the absorbent article (1) than the base parts (61) when seen in the plane of the absorbent article (1).</p>
