PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display for improving the quality of the display image by improving visibility is provided to improve visibility of the liquid crystal display by locating a window cover including a phase delay plate of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes an LCD panel(100), an upper polarizing plate(200), a lower polarizing plate(210), and a phase delay plate(300). The upper polarizing plate is arranged in the upper part of the liquid crystal panel. The lower polarizing plate is arranged in the lower part of the liquid crystal panel. The phase delay plate is arranged in the upper part of the upper polarizing plate. The phase delay plate delays the optical phase coming out from the upper polarizing plate. |
