The invention relates to a surgical instrument (1), comprising a tube (3), which can be inserted in a trocar (2) disposed in a body opening and at the distal end of which functional units (4) can be disposed, and comprising an operating unit (5) which is disposed at the proximal end of the tube (3) and by way of which the functional units (4) can be operated, wherein at least one gripping element (6) that can be decoupled from the tube (3) is provided as a functional unit. In order to optimally conduct laparoscopic surgical procedures if possible only through one body opening or one trocar (2), it is provided for the gripping element (6) to comprise at least one element (7) for connection to a surgical suture (8) or the like. In this way, a plurality of gripping elements (6) can be disposed at appropriate locations for clamping hollow organs, organs, organ parts, vessels or the like in the abdominal cavity of the patient P, and the positions thereof can be varied and fixed by surgical threads (8). |
