PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus capable of reducing a period of time from an image formation start indication for printing data being an object to be printed, to the output completion of a result of image formation corresponding to printing data of the first page of the printing data.

SOLUTION: The processing apparatus includes: a processing means which transmits printing data corresponding to partial pages beginning with the first page and ending with a preliminarily set page, out of all pages of printing data being the object to be printed, to an image forming apparatus; a determination means which determines images of the other pages other than the partial pages of the printing data being the object to be printed, to be color or monochromatic per page; and a control means which transmits color information determined by the determination means and showing that images of respective pages are color or monochromatic, to the image forming apparatus before transmitting printing data corresponding to the other pages.
