HEATER FOR FIXING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing heater in which a heating element consists of a material having excellent characteristics as the heating element. SOLUTION: The heater for fixing with the characteristic of NTC can be provided by the steps of: mixing a metal or a semi-metallic compound capable of forming a conduction inhibitor such as silicon nitride in a carbon-containing resin such as a furan resin and a chlorine vinyl chloride resin; forming the pattern of the heating element on a base material by screen process printing; and baking the pattern at a temperature of approximately 1,000°C.
