<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure and improve the maintainability of a ball screw. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This ball screw is provided with: a screw and nut having a screw load path; two recirculation elements having respective recirculation paths; a plurality of balls; and two dustproof devices attached to the end surfaces of the nut. A closed path is formed by the recirculation path and the load path. The ball screw is provided to a rotary element for use as the relative rotation medium of the screw and the nut. The dustproof device is coaxially fixed to the end surface of the nut using a columnar connector. A shaft hole allowing the screw to extend therethrough is axially formed in the connector, and a storage groove allowing the inside and the outside of the shaft hole to communicate with each other is radially formed in the connector. The storage groove is used for radially inserting a dustproof piece. The intrusion of foreign matters into the nut is avoided by the inner edge of the dustproof piece, and dustproofing function to prevent the outflow of grease is provided.
