GLASS ANTENNA, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-gain and low-loss glass antenna utilizing glass as a substrate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The glass antenna has: a glass substrate 1 constituted as a combined glass substrate sticking two glass panes 1a, 1b via an adhesive layer 1c; an antenna pattern 2; and a ground pattern 3 which reflects a radiation radio wave of the antenna pattern 2. In the glass antenna, either of or both the antenna pattern 2 and the ground pattern 3 are embedded inside the glass substrate 1 and further, a portion confronted with the antenna pattern 2 in at least either the two glass panes 1a, 1b and the adhesive layer 1c is replaced with a material 1d having an induction loss smaller than that of a portion which is not confronted with the antenna pattern 2.
