PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying dicyclopentadiene, by which the hue of a distillation-purified dicyclopentadiene-containing fraction can be improved. SOLUTION: This method for purifying the dicyclopentadiene is characterized in that the distillation-purified dicyclopentadiene-containing fraction is brought into contact with an inert gas or a 1 to 3C hydrocarbon gas.
