<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slow solubilizer that can ensure enough duration time without swelling by absorbing water when used as a slow solubilizer for detergents of water flush toilet, does not hinder detergency, and exhibits a high efficiency in production at molding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The detergent includes a compound (A) as an essential component represented by general formula (1), and a slow slolubilizer (B) characterized by a number average molecular weight of 10,000-25,000, and by a content of the oxyethylene chain part of 70-90 wt.%, wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 6-24C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group or an alcoxy group represented by R<SP>2</SP>O-, and R<SP>2</SP>is a 6-24C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, a and b represent each an average mole number of the added oxy-propylene group and have a number of 15-40, and c and d represent each an average mole number of the added oxy-ethylene group and have a number of 100-250.
