PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmitting device that prevents the occurrence of trouble even in an intense electric-field area while allowing an output channel to be tuned in the same channel as that of analog broadcast waves. SOLUTION: In the retransmitting device, a sufficient number of digital broadcast demodulators 12a and so on are provided so as to fully cope with the number of channels of digital terrestrial broadcasting in each area. Each digital broadcast demodulator demodulates digital terrestrial broadcast waves so as to output it to each analog modulator 13a and so on. Each carrier extractor 14a and so on extracts a video carrier signal of analog broadcast waves for each channel so as to output them to each analog modulator 13a and so on. When re-modulating a video signal demodulated by each digital broadcast demodulator 12a and so on, each analog modulator 13a and so on makes the video signal as a signal having a frequency and a phase equal to the frequency and the phase of the video carrier signal of the analog broadcast wave. An output mixer 15 mixes an analog signal, demodulated by each analog modulator 13a and so on, of each channel with a digital broadcast wave transmitted from an input distributor 11 via a digital broadcast wave pass-through circuit 16 so as to output it to the outside as a retransmitting signal.
