PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mark a top of a component to be marked different in protruding height from a fastening surface without need of replacement or the like of a part. SOLUTION: When a toggle mechanism works, a first engaging means 81 engages, and movement of an ink cartridge 6 toward a sleeve 54 is prevented. Then, the ink cartridge 6 integrally rotates with an interlocking member 50 and the sleeve 54, engagement of the ink cartridge 6 with a butting member 51 via a second engaging means 82 is canceled. Thus, the movement of the ink cartridge 6 from the butting member 51 along a rotation axis 90 is permitted, and in addition, a driving means 80 moves the interlocking member 50 and the sleeve 54 to the lower end of a socket 3. At this time, since the first engaging means 81 causes the sleeve 54 to engage with the ink cartridge 6, a stamp 46 of the ink cartridge 6 moves to a marking position and applies ink to a top 57a of a stud bolt 57.
