PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing sheet made of an aluminum alloy which can maintain high corrosion resistance after brazing a face clad with a brazing filler metal, and further can provide satisfactory brazability. SOLUTION: The brazing sheet made of an aluminum alloy includes a core material and the brazing filler metal provided at least on either side of the core material. The core material contains at least 0.2 to 1.0 mass% Cu. The brazing filler metal is composed of an aluminum alloy in which a liquid phase rate X (%) at brazing temperature and the thickness Y (μm) of the brazing filler metal satisfy the relationship of (1) 30≤X≤80, (2) Y≥25 and (3) 1,000≤X×Y≤2,4000, and which contains, by mass, 2.0 to 8.0% Si and 1.0 to 6.0% Zn. When brazing treatment is performed at the above brazing temperature, the brazing filler metal remains on the core material, and also, after the brazing, a potential gradient where potential is made noble from the surface to the central part of the sheet is formed.
