EQUIPMENTS TO REDUCE THE TEMPERATURES IN CONCRETE STRUCTURE FOR STORING SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL

PURPOSE: A temperature reducing device of a concrete structure is provided to reduce the temperature of a concrete by effectively eliminating disintegration heat generated from the canister of the spent fuel concrete module storage method. CONSTITUTION: A canister(20) stores spent fuel. The canister is built in a concrete module(10). The concrete module protects the canister and shields radiation. An upper side heat shielding plate(30) and a side heat shielding plate are included inside the concrete module. The upper side heat shielding plate and a side heat shielding plate(40) prevent the local temperature increase of the concrete. An air injection hole and an air outlet hole(14) are included in the concrete module. The air injection hole and the air outlet hole inflow and discharge the air in order to remove disintegration heat generated from spent fuel.
