<p>A multi-source transmission system for instant messaging files includes a sender instant messaging terminal and a receiver instant messaging terminal which are connected and exchange data through the network. The receiver instant messaging terminal includes a control module that controls the file transmission, a file receiving module that connects and exchanges data with the sender instant messaging terminal, and a Peer to Server and Peer (P2SP) module that connects and exchanges data with each file source respectively, wherein the P2SP module of the receiver instant messaging terminal searches a file transcript according to the file information sent by the sender instant messaging terminal, and receives, according to the control of the control module, files from the sender instant messaging terminal or the file sources in which the file transcript is located in a multi-source transmission manner. By searching the file transcript in virtue of the existing P2SP system, and receiving the file having the transcript with the multi-source transmission method, the file transmission efficiency is improved, the use efficiency of the bandwidth is increased, and the data transmission is quickened.</p> |
