<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactivity absolute value measuring method capable of reducing cost by simplifying a radioactivity detection circuit, and by reducing the number of components, capable of heightening calculation speed by reducing the number of times of repeated calculation, and further capable of reducing uncertainty of a radioactivity without performing extrapolation calculation. <P>SOLUTION: In this radioactivity absolute measuring method for measuring absolutely a radioactivity of a nuclide emitting electron/positron and photons by one decay, pair annihilation photons and the other photons (called as the other photons) are counted separately, while performing energy discrimination, relative to each radiation detector element, by using a radiation detector aggregate including a plurality of radiation detector elements, and a radioactivity absolute value is determined without performing efficiency extrapolation by using a counting rate or a simultaneous counting rate of a singular or a plurality of photon detection phenomenons in a pair annihilation photon energy window, a counting rate or a simultaneous counting rate of a photon detection phenomenon in an other photon energy window, and a simultaneous counting rate of a singular photon detection phenomenon in the pair annihilation photon energy window and the photon detection phenomenon in the other photon energy window, or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
