<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety, when measuring a weight at a zero point, in a state wherein a fork is not loaded, in a load-measuring device for forklift. <P>SOLUTION: This load-measuring device is so designed that the weight at the zero point is measured during the stoppage of the forklift. In measuring the weight at the zero point, accordingly a measuring person need not pay attention to the neighborhood so as not to come into contact with persons who are present on the premises of a factory, a warehouse, or the like, or with an obstacle, and therefore the safety on the occasion of measuring the zero-point weight can be improved.
